Lead Content Designer

For our client, we are seeking a Lead Content Designer to join the team of a leader in the Hospitals & Medical Centers space. This role will shape content strategy for complex digital health experiences, ensuring language supports both product goals and clinical objectives. You will partner closely with product, design, and clinical stakeholders to deliver clear, human-centered experiences across mobile, web, and AI-enabled interactions. The position also includes guiding conversational design for healthcare-focused chatbots and virtual assistants while helping establish content standards for generated responses. In addition, you will mentor teammates and influence broader content quality across the organization. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $135,000 – $165,000 annually Responsibilities Lead content strategy that aligns with product and clinical goals Champion a human-centered approach and engage cross-functional partners Provide thought leadership on broader organizational projects Plan and write UX copy for mobile and web apps with complex flows Lead conversation design for AI-powered healthcare interactions Collaborate with stakeholders to develop guidelines for AI-generated responses Mentor team members and lead initiatives to enhance content quality Qualifications 8-10 years of experience in content design or UX writing Digital health or wellness experience preferred Conversational design experience for chatbots or virtual assistants, especially in healthcare settings Working knowledge of large language models (LLMs) and generative AI tools Familiarity with conversational AI platforms and their integration with content design Experience leading content strategy for complex digital products Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience Benefits Flexible Vacation Policy for rest and personal time 80 hours of Paid Sick, Safe, and Caregiver Leave annually Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
