About the role
Java Backend Engineer responsible for migrating components such as API and batch jobs to the Lumi (GCP) project space. You will collaborate closely with the data-migration team on the CS-to-Lumi/Lumi-First initiative. This is not a data-engineering role focused on ODLs or foundational-table migration.
Responsibilities
- Migrate Java-based API and batch components to the Lumi (GCP) environment.
- Work directly with the CS-to-Lumi data-migration team to ensure seamless integration.
Requirements
- Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience with Java.
- Minimum 6 years of overall professional software-development experience.
- Proven experience building and consuming REST APIs.
- Experience with the Lumi platform or equivalent GCP-based migration projects.
- Domain expertise in credit-card systems.
Interview process
- Two rounds of virtual interviews.
