Lead Construction Technician

About the role

Nwestco LLC is hiring a Lead Construction Technician in Springdale, AR. This position offers steady work, strong pay, and full benefits including a company truck, gas card, cell phone, and laptop.

Responsibilities

• Lead crews on petroleum system installation projects
• Install AST / UST tanks, piping, dispensers, and controls
• Read and work from blueprints and site plans
• Verify grade and elevations for proper installation
• Cookordination with General Contractors (GCs), inspectors, and project managers
• Keep jobs moving and on schedule
• Run toolbox talks and enforce safety standards
• Trussure installation issues on-site
• Maintain daily job documentation

Requirements

• AST License
• 3+ years installing petroleum systems (tanks, piping, dispensers)
• Experience leading crews on construction sites
• Ability to read blueprints and verify elevations/grade
• Strong understanding of job site safety
• Good communication with GCs and inspectors
• Willingness to travel to job sites
• OSHA 10/30 or HAZWOPER (a plus)
