Lead Commercial Installer (Greater Boston, MA)
Position Summary
The Lead Commercial Installer reports directly to the Production Manager but works closely with Project Managers on a daily basis. Key responsibilities include:
- Performing installation, startup, and closeout of all jobs
- Aiding Project Managers in design
- Assisting with other tasks as assigned
Responsibilities
Specific duties include:
- Installing and pulling wire according to specifications
- Installing and wiring equipment used in systems
- Testing all equipment after termination to ensure system performance
- Working in compliance with the Company's safety manual
- Maintaining the Install Van and keeping it clean and organized
- Daily communication with Project Manager regarding delays, requirements, and job status
- Updating the daily logbook with customer requests, tasks performed, job numbers, dates, and times
- Filling out timecards accurately in Q360
- Training apprentices on Company procedures, systems, and installation techniques
- Ensuring all work meets Company standards and quality installation techniques
- Running jobs within each phase's estimate
- Collaborating with Systems Engineers during startup to ensure complete system compliance
- Coordinating with Project Manager for complete closeout and turnover of jobs to the client and service department
- Additional duties as assigned

About the Job
To be considered for this position, candidates should have:
- 3+ years of experience in the electronic field using AC/DC theory
- Proper hand and power tool operations and safety
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics
- Basic computer skills
Preferred qualifications include CTS Certification and travel requirements may vary based on business needs.
