Lead Commercial Installer
About the role
The lead Installer reports directly to the Production Manager but works closely with Project Managers on a daily basis. Responsibilities include installation, startup, and closeout of all jobs, assisting with project design, and other tasks as assigned.
Responsibilities
- Installs and pulls wire as per specifications
- Installs and wires equipment used in systems
- Tests all equipment after termination is made to ensure system performance
- Works in compliance with the Company's safety manual
- Maintains Install Van and Van Stock
- Daily communications with Project Manager on delays, requirements, and job status
- Keeps daily logbook updated with customer requests, tasks performed, job numbers, dates, and times
- Fills out timecards accurately in Q360
- Trains apprentices on Company procedures, systems, and installation techniques
- Ensures all work is performed to Company standards and quality installation techniques are practiced
- Runs jobs within each phase's estimate (e.g., wire pull, mounting)
- Collaborates with Systems Engineers on startup to ensure complete system compliance
- Works with Project Manager to ensure complete closeout and turnover of jobs to the client and service department
- Additional duties as assigned
Requirements
- 3+ years working in the electronic field where AC/DC theory is used on a daily basis
- Proper hand and power tool operations and safety
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics
- Ability to wire and troubleshoot relay logic
- Basic computer skills

Pay
$43.50 - $48.00/hr depending on background and experience.
