Lead Commercial Electrician

About the role

Rack Industries is seeking a Lead Commercial Electrician to join our team in Boca Raton, FL. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial electrical work, including experience with high voltage systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage electrical projects from start to finish, ensuring compliance with all relevant codes and standards.
• Design and implement electrical solutions for commercial buildings, including troubleshooting and resolving complex electrical issues.
• Train and mentor junior electricians on best practices and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems with building infrastructure.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Valid Florida Commercial Electrician License.
• Experience with high voltage systems and industrial electrical equipment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in commercial electrical work.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety protocols.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar drafting software.

Skills

• Proficient in electrical design and construction.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Experience with project management tools and software.
