LEAD CLINICAL LAB SCIENTIST
Responsibilities
Opened in 2010, Palmdale Regional Medical Center is a 184-bed, acute care hospital located in Palmdale, CA. Palmdale Regional is part of the Southwest Healthcare network, which includes five hospitals and multiple ambulatory locations. The hospital actively engages with the community through partnerships and supports nonprofit agencies.
Requirements
- Two (2) years’ experience as a Medical Technologist is required.
- Supervisory experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- Master’s degree preferred.
- California State License for Clinical Laboratory Scientist (current).
- CPI is required within 30 days of hire.
Qualifications
- Lead, coordinate and participate in laboratory activities, including testing and compliance with regulatory agencies.
- Assist in the supervision of the Chemistry Departments with an efficient, economic and quality manner.
- To the satisfaction of the Lab Medical Director, the Laboratory Department Director, Hospital Administration and the medical staff.
