About the Role

The Lead Clinic Informatics Specialist is a critical member of the Scribe Program. They champion the organization's mission to provide high-quality patient care by leading their Clinic Scribe team. The Lead Clinic Scribe acts as an in-clinic expert on all Scribe-related matters including training, coordinating coverage, and assisting with the implementation of any new clinic initiatives. In addition, they will engage with Senior Scribes to facilitate the successful execution of Scribe activities in each clinic. This role ensures the smooth day-to-day operations of these essential activities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of 4-5 Clinic Scribes
  • Provide ongoing training and support of Clinic Scribes
  • Serve as the in-clinic point person for coding and workflow questions
  • Assist with Wellness Review Visit Review
  • Coordinate Regional Scribe coverage
  • Observe and record patient encounters/examinations
  • Document patient information, history, and diagnoses
  • Assist in medical management
  • Document medical decision making
  • Perform other duties, as assigned

Requirements

  • Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment

  • Expert in accurate and specific documentation

  • At least 6 months of experience as a Clinic Informatics Specialist (Scribe)

Pay

The typical pay range for this role is $18.50 - $38.82 per hour. This pay range represents the base hourly rate for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors. This position is also eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission, or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.

Schedule

This is a full-time position with anticipated weekly hours of 40.
