About the role
Responsible for overseeing the preparation and serving of meals in a grocery store deli and kitchen environment. Ensuring high standards of food quality and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of meals including sandwiches, salads, and hot dishes.
- Manage inventory and ensure supplies are replenished as needed.
- Ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met at all times.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally.
- Participate in staff training and development programs.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation and hygiene practices.
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
