Job Summary

Leads all sterile processing techs in day-to-day functions of SPD. Assembles, wraps, packages, and sterilizes all reusable items in the Medical Center. Accurately prepares all case carts for Surgery in a timely manner. Ensures standards for AAMI/CMS are maintained to keep patients safe. Works to improve processes and throughput.

Job Details and Requirements

  • Type: Full-time, 80 hours per 2 week pay period
  • Typical hours: Monday-Friday, 2:30-11:00p
  • Education: High School Diploma - required
  • Certification & Licensures: CRCST or CSPD certified - required within six (6) months of hire date
  • Experience: Minimum one (1) years of experience as a sterile processing tech or surgical tech - required
  • Competent in all areas of SPD, as determined by manager/director - required
