Lead Central Sterile Technician

As a Certified Lead Sterile Processing Technician, you will be an invaluable safety expert and trusted leader on our team. Responsibilities
- Cleaning, inspecting, assembling, and sterilizing surgical instruments and trays to ensure every tool works properly and is ready for patient care
- Operating and maintaining sterilization equipment, while keeping detailed records of sterilization cycles, safety checks, and quality standards
- Preparing surgical sets and case carts by reviewing daily schedules and gathering the right instruments and supplies for each procedure
- Managing inventory, organizing supplies in OR storage areas, and working closely with the surgical team to help keep surgeries run smoothly and on time
- Leading and training the Sterile Processing team, sharing updates on new equipment and processes, and setting a positive example to support a safe, high-quality environment where teamwork thrives
Qualifications
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Knowledge of sterilization supplies, equipment and instruments
- Minimum of 1-2 years of previous experience; Lead or Supervisory level experience is strongly preferred
- Current certification (CBSPD or HSPA)
