Lead Carpentry Installer

Closets by Design is a nationally recognized leader in home organizing systems. We are seeking a motivated lead installer who will take ownership of every installation and has a high bar for quality. This person will help coach and build the team around them. Initially focused on driving their own installs, this role has growth potential to becoming an installation manager.

Responsibilities

• Install custom closets and cabinets at customer homes.
• Build and coach the installation team.
• Take direction and deliver on expectations.
• Follow basic drawings and install quality finished products.
• Use hand and power tools safely.
• Measure, cut, and fit materials.
• Keep job sites clean and organized during and after installation.
• Install products in a safe and efficient manner, with a high bar for quality.
• Communicate with customers in a friendly and professional manner to ensure client satisfaction.

Requirements

• Customer-oriented, friendly, and enthusiastic.
• Reliable, punctual with a good work ethic.
• Possess and maintain a current driver’s license.
• Good driving record.
• Closet, garage, or office installation experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong personal organization skills.
• Ability to operate company vehicles.

Pay

$27.50/hour, with commission opportunities to earn more. Direct career track to Installation Manager with a pay increase.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, no weekends, no required overtime.
