Lead Carpenter / Handyman – Company Van Provided

About The Opportunity

CSG Operations LLC, doing business as Mr. Handyman of La Jolla – Coastal San Diego, is building its founding field team and is seeking an experienced carpenter/handyman who takes pride in craftsmanship and customer service. This is a W-2 position for a skilled professional who wants to focus on quality work rather than administrative tasks.

What You’ll Do

• Interior and exterior door installation, adjustment, and repair
• Finish carpentry, casing, trim, and molding
• Wood and exterior rot repairs
• Deck, fence, and general carpentry repairs
• Cabinet and hardware installation
• Drywall patching and general home-repair punch lists
• Residential and light commercial repair work

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of paid professional experience in carpentry, remodeling, or comprehensive home repair; 7+ years strongly preferred
• Strong ability with doors, trim, and finish carpentry
• Strong ability to independently diagnose problems and complete customer-ready repairs
• Professional hand and power tools appropriate for the position
• Meticulous job-site protection and cleanup habits
• Comfort using a smartphone or tablet for job notes, photos, and communication
• Valid California driver's license and ability to meet company and insurer driving requirements
• Ability to satisfy job-related background and driving-record requirements consistent with applicable law
