Position Summary

This opportunity will involve leading, while working alongside, a team of carpenters, and apprentice carpenters mostly on remodeling and additions, and occasionally on new homes or cabinets. Our crews mainly do carpentry - framing and finish - and on smaller jobs, a bit of the work of several other trades. Our younger team members also perform most, if not all, of the laborer work. You will work closely with one of our Project Coordinators on matters of schedule, subcontractor performance, materials, tools, equipment, supplies, and project staffing. You will also share responsibilities for communicating, and coordinating with homeowners, as needed, about day-to-day jobsite activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and work alongside a team of carpenters and apprentice carpenters
• Perform framing, finish carpentry, and general construction work
• Support work across multiple trades on smaller projects as needed

• Coordinate with Project Coordinators on scheduling, materials, and staffing
• Help manage subcontractor performance and jobsite resources
• Communicate and coordinate with homeowners on day-to-day jobsite activities
• Maintain productivity and accuracy to meet project timelines and company standards

Qualifications

• Experience in residential carpentry, including framing and finish work
• Experience leading or working alongside a crew on job sites
• Ability to balance productivity with accuracy in a construction environment
• Comfortable coordinating with project teams and homeowners
• Strong work ethic and commitment to quality craftsmanship
• Ability to handle physical demands of construction work
