Lead Caregiver

Responsibilities

• Provide care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
• Afford assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Administer medications and monitor vital signs as directed by healthcare professionals.
• Maintain adherence to HIPAA guidelines to protect patient confidentiality.
• Offer emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
• Preserve a clean and organized living environment for residents.
• Advocate for resident rights and ensure their dignity and independence.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred but not required.
• Caregiver must possess a compassionate and caring nature with a genuine desire to help others.
• Effective communication skills with patients, families, and healthcare professionals are essential.
• Brief understanding of patient care techniques and procedures is necessary.
• The caregiver should be able to follow instructions and work both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are required.
