Role Description
The Lead Care Pro is passionate about providing great care and wants to grow their career by helping other Care Pros and by working closely with the Home Instead team in Omaha. The Lead Care Pro will be responsible for providing care to a variety of clients on an as needed basis, improving care plans based on first hand observations, assessing the care skills of other Care Pros, and providing in office support. The Care Pro Lead is a critical member of the Omaha Home Instead team.
Schedule
- Availability from 7a-9p on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays
- Availability from 7a-7p on Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays
- Availability from 7a-7p on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays

- 40 hours of paid working time per week is guaranteed, with opportunity for overtime
- $20.00/hr. - weekly pay & direct deposit

Applicant Requirements
- At least 3+ years of paid caregiving experience, additional work experience preferred
- Have a Nebraska Driver’s License and up to date Auto Insurance
- Have basic English speaking, reading, and writing abilities (Bilingual or multilingual individuals are encouraged to apply)
- Complete any compliance, license, or registration required by federal, state, or local regulations
- Personal Care Experience, including bathing and incontinence care
- Memory Care Experience
- Experience working with home care equipment (eg. hoyer lift, sit to stand, etc.)
Lead Caregiver Responsibilities
- Provide care for clients, including being available to help new clients quickly start care and providing coverage when another caregiver is absent
- 1-on-1 assistance with hands-on, non-medical activities of daily living, including bathing, toileting, and changing adult briefs
- Mobility assistance, including usage of hoyer lift and other equipment
- Meal preparation and medication reminders
- Companionship and conversation
- Train other caregivers who are visiting a client for the first time or when the clients’ care needs have changed, includes supporting caregivers who have no prior experience
- Utilize technology to complete tasks and communicate with the Home Instead team
- Provide feedback to the Home Instead team to improve client care plans and help us understand when another Care Pro is a great fit or needs more support
- Provide in office support including assisting with mailing, making phone calls and helping Care Pros who need in person support
- Participate in meetings with Home Instead team
