Lead Caregiver

At No Worries Care, we're dedicated to providing reliable, compassionate in-home care that empowers clients to live safely and comfortably. We're looking for an experienced caregiver to step into a Lead Caregiver role; someone who not only delivers excellent care but also helps support and guide others on our team.
Position Overview
As a Lead Caregiver, you'll wear two hats; part hands-on caregiver, part administrative support. You'll provide direct care to clients while also helping manage day-to-day operational tasks such as scheduling coordination, documentation, and team communication. You'll act as a point of contact for families, serve as a mentor for other caregivers, and help keep things running smoothly behind the scenes. This position offers flexible scheduling with weekend availability preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver personal care assistance (bathing, grooming, dressing, hygiene)
- Support clients with mobility, transfers, and medication reminders
- Lead by example and assist with training or mentoring new caregivers
- Career management and communication with families and healthcare professionals
- Monitor care plans and ensure they are followed correctly
- Encourage clients' social engagement and promote overall well-being
- Aid in meal preparation and light housekeeping to maintain a safe environment
- Report updates and concerns to supervisors promptly
Qualifications
- 2+ years of caregiving or related experience preferred
- CNA or HCA credentials preferred
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts with weekend availability preferred
- Dependable, professional, and compassionate approach to client care
- Comfortable working independently while supporting team collaboration
