Lead Care Manager LCSW

About the Role

Demonstrates proficiency in delivering culturally, ethnically, and religiously sensitive care to age-specific patient populations. Participates in related continuing education, supports staff development, provides pre-licensure supervision, and coordinates the MSW internship program. Assesses and identifies needs in program planning and facilitates program development in collaboration with the Director of the Department. Assesses, identifies, and alerts the Director of staffing issues while participating in their resolution. Works in a lead capacity.

Responsibilities

• Deliver culturally, ethnically, and religiously sensitive care to diverse patient populations.
• Engage in continuing education and support staff development.
• Provide pre-licensure supervision and coordinate the MSW internship program.
• Assess and identify program planning needs; facilitate program development in collaboration with the Director.
• Assess, identify, and communicate staffing issues to the Director while participating in their resolution.
• Serve in a lead capacity within the department.

Requirements

• Completion of 15 contact hours in supervision training as required by the California State Board of Behavioral Sciences within 3 months of hire.
• California Clinical Social Worker License (upon hire).
• 5 years of direct hospital and/or clinical experience within the last 10 years.
• Direct clinical experience in a healthcare environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited university (CSWE – Council of Social Work Education).

Pay

The pay range for this position is $48.79 - $75.74 per hour. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.

Schedule

Full time with a variable shift.
