Lead Cardiac and Vascular Catheterization Lab Technologist - Cath Laboratory

About the role

The Lead Cardiovascular Technologist position at Providence St. Joseph Hospital Eureka, CA is full-time and works 10-hour, Day shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assumes responsibility for limited supervisory activities in the department under the direction of the Department Manager/Director.
• Is technically and/or clinically competent, adheres to department standards, and serves as an administrative, clinical, and/or technical resource to department staff.
• Provides age-appropriate care for patients as defined by the department scope of service.
• Performs the competency standards of the Cardiovascular/Interventional Imaging Technologist.

Requirements

• Graduate of a program in Radiology Imaging Technologist approved by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association.
• California Diagnostic Radiologic Technology Certification.
• National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• 2 years of experience as a hospital-based Cardiovascular and/or Interventional Imaging Technologist.
• 2 years of Cath Lab experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International.
• Supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Coursework/Training in Radiology Imaging Technologist approved by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association.
• California Diagnostic Radiologic Technology Certification.
• National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• 2 years of experience as a hospital-based Cardiovascular and/or Interventional Imaging Technologist.
• 2 years of Cath Lab experience.

Skills

Able to perform the competency standards of the Cardiovascular/Interventional Imaging Technologist.

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
