Cardiac and Vascular Catheterization Lab Technologist - Cath Lab
About the role
The Cardiovascular/ Interventional Imaging Technologist performs advanced cardiovascular and interventional imaging procedures under the supervision of the Department Manager and/or Lead Technologist. They also serve as a customer service representative to patients, their families, the public, and medical staff.
Responsibilities
- Performs advanced cardiovascular and interventional imaging procedures under the supervision of the Department Manager and/or Lead Technologist.
- Serves as a customer service representative to patients, their families, the public, and medical staff.
- Participates in quality assurance and organizational improvement activities.
- Provides age-appropriate care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, assisting with data collection and providing care.
Requirements
- Graduate of ARRT School or equivalent education/experience.
- California Radiologic Technologist upon hire.
- National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
Preferred Qualifications
- Additional training in angiocardiography or equivalent education/experience.
- Advanced registration from ARRT in Cardiovascular and Interventional imaging upon hire.
- 2 years of experience as a scrub technician in an acute care hospital.
Qualifications
- Coursework/Training - Graduate of ARRT School or equivalent education/experience.
- Califonia Radiologic Technologist upon hire.
- National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
Skills
- Knowledge of advanced cardiovascular and interventional imaging techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in operating medical equipment.

Pay
The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. The base pay range is $51.80 - $66.30.
Schedule
This position is Per Diem and works 10-hour, Day shifts.
