About the role

Kitchen Tune-Up Brooklyn North is hiring a skilled Lead Cabinet Installer and Finish Carpenter to join its growing team. The role involves taking kitchen projects from layout through final adjustments and punch‑list completion on steady, year‑round residential jobs throughout Brooklyn and Manhattan, with organized project support and the opportunity to take ownership of installations. This is a lead‑level position requiring professional kitchen cabinet installation experience; it is not an entry‑level carpentry role.

Responsibilities

• Independently install complete residential kitchens from plans and elevations
• Install framed and frameless cabinetry
• Lay out cabinetry and ensure everything is level, plumb, square and properly aligned
• Install fillers, finished panels, scribes, toe kicks, crown moulding and decorative trim
• Perform cabinet refacing and cabinet modifications when required
• Install handles, hinges, rollouts, pull‑outs and cabinet accessories
• Make accurate field cuts and solve installation challenges professionally
• Lead a helper or second installer when assigned
• Protect customers’ homes and maintain a clean, organized job site
• Communicate daily progress, material needs and job‑site concerns to the project coordinator
