Lead Business Ops Analyst

About the role
This position is responsible for providing analysis and solutions to complex business process and technical problems, with a focus on improving operational effectiveness and excellence. The Business Operations Analyst will prepare and deliver well-constructed business insights to management, lead teams, and enhance understanding of business processes and systems. The ideal candidate is a well-organized self-starter with a passion for optimizing decision-making through rigorous data utilization.
Responsibilities
- Extract and deliver useful statistics and insight from business data to drive and support operational improvements and business strategies.
- Proactively identify and implement solutions and/or strategies to help the business achieve its short and long-term objectives.
- Prepare complex financial models and forecasting using advanced modeling techniques.
- Develop high-level analyses, recommend courses of action based on data, and present findings to Senior Management.
- Develop and research methods for measuring business performance and compare against trends and best practices.
- Review, identify, analyze, and create detailed documentation of business processes and supporting systems.
- May lead special projects or teams.
- Physical presence in the office/on-site to engage in face-to-face interaction and coordination of work among direct reports and co-workers.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Comply with all policies and standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree with seven years of analytical/problem-solving experience, OR Master's Degree with four years of analytical/problem-solving experience.
- Experience with tools and programming languages such as Python, SQL, and PowerBI.
- In-depth knowledge of statistical analysis, data visualization, and data manipulation.
- Strong competencies in process improvement, change management, and project management.
- Strong analysis, research, and complex problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in MS Suite (Excel, Access, and PowerPoint) or other advanced statistical computer applications.

- Master's Degree in business or a quantitative discipline.
- Innate curiosity and a strong desire to solve problems.
- Ability to tell a story from analysis to identify and solve business opportunities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
