Lead Brewer - Riip Beer Co.

Responsibilities

• Oversight of all production brewing operations.
• Leading and mentoring the brewing and cellar team.
• Maintaining consistency in recipe execution and quality standards.
• Managing brew schedules, fermentation, cellar operations, filtration, carbonation, and packaging.
• Monitoring yeast health, cleaning-in-place (CIP) procedures, sanitation, and quality control programs.
• Coordinating raw material inventory and production planning.
• Maintaining brewery equipment and collaborating with vendors on preventative maintenance.
• Collaborating on recipe development, process improvements, and new beer releases.
• Ensuring compliance with safety, OSHA, TTB, and brewery operating procedures.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of professional brewing experience, including production brewing.
• Previous leadership or Head Brewer experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of brewing science, cellar operations, and quality assurance.
• Experience operating commercial brewhouse and packaging equipment.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to lift 55+ pounds and work in a physically demanding production environment.
• Passion for craft beer and continuous improvement.
