Lead Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

About the role

The Lead BCBA serves as the primary clinical leader for the after-school Social Connections Program while maintaining a center-based daytime caseload. This role combines clinical responsibilities with program oversight, staff development, quality assurance, and implementation support.

Responsibilities

• Maintain direct BCBA service delivery and billable activity in alignment with organizational expectations
• Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments and reassessments, including Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and skills assessments, to identify target behaviors
• Train and supervise Behavior Technicians (BTs), Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), and other team members on intervention strategies
• Review and analyze clinical data regularly to guide treatment decisions and improve client outcomes
• Provide ongoing training and support to families, caregivers, and relevant stakeholders in behavioral strategies
• Support participant placement and group composition to foster meaningful and mutually beneficial social skills groups
• Develop and deliver CEU training for BCBAs to maintain certification and build clinical skills
• Lead clinical meetings and promote a culture of collaboration, professional development, and clinical excellence
• Perform other duties as assigned consistent with scope of certification, licensure, and professional competence

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or a related field
• Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in good standing
• Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) in state providing services, if applicable
• Completion of BACB-approved supervision training
• 3+ years of BCBA experience in supervisory, leadership, or quality-focused role
• Minimum of one year of relevant job-related experience, including providing supervision, coaching, and performance feedback to clinical staff within a social skills group setting
• Experience working in Electronic Health Records, preference given to those with CentralReach experience

Qualifications

• Work Location & Hours: This is an on-site position based at our Clark, NJ Early Intervention Center. The standard work schedule is Monday through Friday, 10:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. EST. Traveling to other centers may be required.

Benefits

• Compensation: The expected salary range for this role is $92,000-$102,000 per year. Final compensation will be based on a range of factors, such as your skills, education, experience, certifications, market conditions, and internal equity.
