Responsibilities
- Ensure medical equipment is well-maintained, properly configured, and safely functional.
- Lead, manage, and supervise subordinate BMETs.
- Cook with technical inspections, repairs, calibrations, and overhauls of medical equipment.
- Cook with coordination with the Program Manager at the assigned location.
- Enter data into Army automated systems as prescribed by the depot supervisor.
- Submit monthly reports identifying work completed and total hours spent.
- Be available for short notice TDY travel (within 48 to 72 hours).
- Ensure compliance with all safety and security regulations.
Requirements
- Graduate from a DoD or civilian biomedical technician school.
- 8+ years of experience in healthcare and/or mechanical maintenance operations.
- Associate's degree or higher in Medical Equipment Technology.
- Comprehensive knowledge of medical equipment, policies, and procedures.
- Ability to lead and manage subordinate BMETs.
- Must be physically and medically qualified.
- CBET certification desirable.
