Lead Barista Cafe Drip
Full-time, non-exempt position with swing shift and weekend requirement.
Pay
$21.91 – $23.00 per hour, depending on experience, with annual performance-based increases.

Purpose
Lead the front-of-house team by ensuring exceptional quality in food, beverage, and service while maintaining cleanliness and operational standards, and elevating the guest experience. Foster a culture of superior guest service, manage performance, ensure adherence to policies, and maintain accurate records for personnel, sales, and labor.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of positions, policies, and procedures; mentor team members and provide support as needed
- Oversee cash handling procedures, ensure accurate operation of the point-of-sale system, manage cash, and make change
- Address and resolve guest inquiries, complaints, and concerns promptly and professionally
- Maintain effective communication with team members through memos, bulletin boards, shift reports, and meetings
- Train new baristas and provide feedback to ensure proper techniques, customer service, and product knowledge
- Monitor staff compliance with department policies, including confidentiality, POS transactions, cash handling, sales labor reporting, and product up-selling
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Requirements
- One year of barista experience
- Strong knowledge of policies and procedures, with ability to mentor and train new team members
- Proficiency in cash handling and POS system operations
- Excellent interpersonal and guest service skills
- Ability to enforce policy compliance and ensure operational consistency
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a high-volume à la carte venue
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and POS systems
Snoqualmie Casino & Hotel exercises Snoqualmie Tribal Member/Native American preference in hiring. A Gaming License from the Snoqualmie Gaming Commission is required. Pre-employment drug testing is required; marijuana use will not disqualify applicants except for Transportation positions.
