What You'll Do
- Bring extensive experience in the waterproofing industry, including technical product knowledge, field site visit protocols, and major manufacturer offerings.
- Demonstrate exceptional facilitation and communication skills with an ability to engage groups, generate conversation, and present content in a compelling and impactful style.
- Deliver instructor-led training events in person and virtually.
- Organize materials and provide support to learners before, during, and after training events.
- Prepare, create, and maintain positive learning environments for groups of all levels, from frontline to senior leaders, and be able to tailor delivery to the audience.
- Identify and proactively recommend program improvements to instructional designers.
- Serve as the lead trainer for multiple programs across QXO organizations, certifying and mentoring new and existing facilitators, including guest facilitators, to ensure consistency and excellence in delivery.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders and instructional designers on the development and deployment of new programs and initiatives.
- Learn internal processes and products to educate others credibly.
- Stay up to date on trends in the waterproofing industry and with major vendors’ products and available training programs.
- Stay current on training, facilitation, leadership, and learning methodologies.
What You'll Bring
- 5+ years of experience in a technical/sales position within the waterproofing industry with extensive knowledge of the waterproofing industry, including products, systems, and top vendors.
- 4+ years of exceptional facilitation experience delivering training to multiple levels and programs, including both virtual and instructor-led training.
- Strong technical proficiency in Microsoft Office and video conferencing technology, specifically Microsoft Teams and Zoom.
- Technical proficiency in CRM systems – Salesforce preferred, familiarity with Oracle systems.
- Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks without sacrificing quality and accuracy.
- Proven proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making skills; self-motivated.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to travel up to 30% of the time to deliver in-person training.
- 2 + years of people leading experience is a plus.
