About the role

The Douglas Judicial Circuit seeks a Lead Assistant District Attorney to join a dynamic team handling serious and complex felony cases in the Atlanta metro area. The position offers opportunities for career growth and community impact.

Responsibilities

- Review felony case files from law enforcement. - Direct and lead further investigation. - Evaluate and charge cases. - Negotiate plea recommendations. - Conduct jury trials. - Carry a trial line case load. - Assist other team members by providing guidance on their case loads. - Collaborate with investigators and victim witness advocates.

Requirements

- Strong experience as a Team Lead. - Approximately 3-5 years of prosecution experience. - Membership in good standing with the State Bar of Georgia or eligibility for reciprocity. - Eligibility or admission to practice before the Georgia Supreme Court and Court of Appeals. - Background check required.

- Preference given to candidates with experience in Team Lead roles.
