Lead Appliance Repair Technician

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair home appliances by troubleshooting, providing cost estimates, communicating with the customer, and collecting payments.
  • Lead a team of Appliance Repair Technicians to properly diagnose and repair appliances.
  • Serve as a resource and technical support for the team.
  • Effectively communicate with the office.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
  • Previous experience of five years or more in appliance repair is a plus!

Qualifications

  • Exceptional Customer Service: Show empathy toward the customer and accurately diagnose and solve their problems.
  • Getting from Diagnosis to Solution: Help the customer understand what needs to be done to resolve their issues quickly.
  • Quality of Work: Critical thinking skills and the ability to problem solve to ensure satisfaction and correct repairs.
  • Efficiency: Be efficient with time and the speed at which you can complete repairs.
  • Punctuality and Reliability: Be available and show up on time.
  • Pride in the Details: Keep your work vehicle clean and organized, and value attention to detail in completing customer information and reports.
  • Thirst for Knowledge: Research new equipment and take advantage of training opportunities to expand your knowledge and skills.
  • Desire to Share Knowledge and Skills: Enjoy teaching other technicians all of the skills listed above.

Benefits & Pay

  • The pay range for this position is $25 to $40 per hour and is commission based.
  • You also will have the opportunity to earn bonuses.

Pay Schedule

Get paid weekly every Friday.

Flex Schedule

5 day or 4 day workweek available.

No Nights or Weekends
