Lead Analyst, Wholesale Regional Planning

Job Description

Key Accountabilities

• Cook up the financial projection, analysis, long-range planning, and ad hoc financial and operational reporting processes for Renewables and Support O&M organization, including tracking of overall plant-level profitability.
• Utilize planning tools and processes to coordinate capital and O&M tracking and reporting.
• Collaborate with the Corp Development and Construction team to grasp the overall Renewable fleet financial performance/EBITDA contribution.
• Constantly monitor actual results against the plan, projection, and previous year to ensure targets are met or exceeded.
• Collaborate closely with regional plant leaders to summarize financial results, offer corrective action as needed, and support ad-hoc & strategic analysis, including periodic performance updates as needed.

Education, Experience & Skill Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, economics, or other related analytical discipline required.
• 5 years finance work experience in a dynamic and analytical environment.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint technical skills.
• Able to query and analyze data in an efficient manner.
• Working knowledge of key financial, accounting, and business metrics.
• Able to interface with and resolve issues with multiple stakeholders.

Key Metrics

• Ensures development & coordination of regional variance analysis to be included in the monthly Financial Operating Report.
• Provides constructive feedback to businesses on budgets and financial plans submitted by stakeholders.
