About the role

EverQuote is a leading AI-powered growth solutions partner for regulated property and casualty insurance entities. The Lead Analyst, Site Analytics role requires working in-office 3 days per week: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

Responsibilities

  • CRO & Site Funnel Analytics: Own conversion rate optimization and funnel analysis for your area, starting with the business area you are assigned: full-form and funnel diagnosis, drop-off analysis, and site performance monitoring. Turn analysis into concrete recommendations that move conversion and revenue, and own the outcomes.
  • Traffic Orchestration & Distribution Analysis: Analyze how traffic is routed, allocated, and distributed across sites and monetization paths, and where the opportunities and leaks are. Own the end-to-end view from traffic coming in to revenue going out, connecting site behavior to distribution decisions.
  • Experimentation & Measurement: Design, size, and run experiments with rigor (significance, power, and variance-reduction approaches), and know when to call them. Build measurement frameworks that tie site and distribution changes to revenue, and produce clear readouts for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Cross-Site Expansion: Start in one business area and build repeatable frameworks and tooling that generalize, so your work scales from one area to all three. Become the go-to person for site analytics across all of EverQuote’s business areas over time.
  • Tooling, Automation & Knowledge Sharing: Build dashboards and tools, automate recurring reporting, and document your work so it is usable by others. Serve as a technical resource for the team and mentor more junior analysts, consistent with the path toward managing.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership & Collaboration: Partner closely with Product, Engineering, and Design to align on priorities and ship changes. Grow into people leadership: driving alignment, mentoring, and eventually building and leading a team.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in analytics, with a focus on CRO, site, product, or growth analytics.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics or related field OR demonstrated analytical ability or equivalent hands-on professional experience.
  • Strong track record of end-to-end analysis: framing an ambiguous problem, doing the work, and landing a recommendation that drove a decision.
  • Solid experimentation and A/B testing depth: significance, power and sample sizing, and ideally variance-reduction techniques.
  • Strong funnel and conversion analysis skills.
  • Comfortable using AI tools to accelerate your work, and eager to build them into how you analyze, monitor, and ship.
  • Clear written and verbal communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Interest in growing into management, ideally with some experience mentoring or leading others.

Qualifications

  • Nice to have (but not required): Experience with dbt or warehouse modeling and BI tools.
  • Marketplace, lead-gen, or ecommerce funnel experience.
