Lead Analyst, Retail Pricing Analytics
This role is based in Atlanta and requires on-site presence 5 days a week.
About the role
We are seeking a Lead Pricing Analytics Consultant to support the Pro Pricing Strategy team for a premier US home improvement retailer. In this high-visibility, client-facing role, you will bridge the gap between complex data science and executive strategy. You will act as the primary onshore point of contact, leading end-to-end analytical initiatives, consulting senior client stakeholders, and managing work delivery alongside an offshore engineering and analytics team.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary trusted advisor to client leadership; translate ambiguous business problems into structured analytical frameworks and deliver executive-ready strategic recommendations.
- Lead and coordinate daily delivery with US and offshore analytics teams, ensuring projects stay on schedule and meet high quality standards.
- Design, build, and optimize competitive pricing initiatives, discount strategies, and promotional models to drive core business KPIs.
- Build and maintain analytical frameworks and capabilities. Leverage Google Cloud Platform to build data pipelines and design intuitive, high-impact Tableau dashboards for executive visibility.
- Pivot quickly to support high-priority client requests, market trend analyses, and shifting business priorities in a fast-paced retail environment.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Retail Analytics, with a dedicated focus on pricing, promotions, or merchandising analytics.
- 5+ years in Data Analytics / Data Science with proven experience framing insights and presenting directly to senior/executive leadership.
- Advanced SQL expertise (experience with Google BigQuery preferred).
- Intermediate-to-Advanced Tableau skills for building executive-level visualizations.
- Strong domain expertise in the Retail / E-commerce sector (Home Improvement industry experience is a major plus).
- Proven experience in strategy consulting, client expectation management, and structured problem-solving.
- Experience collaborating with and directing cross-functional and global/offshore delivery teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Data Science, Analytics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
- Python programming skills for data science, modeling, or automated workflows (preferred).
- Deep practical knowledge of complex retail pricing mechanics (elasticity, tiering, margin impact, competitor price matching) (preferred).

Pay
The annual salary range for this position is $72,000–$110,000. Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.
Schedule
This role requires in-person collaboration at the Atlanta office 5 days a week. Employees who live within a commutable distance of a dentsu hub office are expected to work from the office at least three days per week (two days per week for employees based in Los Angeles).
