Lead Analyst, Investment Liaisons
About the role
The Multi-Asset Investment Liaison plays a key role in enhancing collaboration and growth within Global Investment Operations. This role involves serving as a bridge between multi-asset investment management and various operational teams, leveraging specialized business and technical expertise to lead and manage complex investment-related and operational activities.
Responsibilities
- Leads portfolio management activities for highly complex or high-risk investment strategies.
- Leverages business and technical expertise to interpret and identify portfolio management solutions based on investment and performance data.
- Develops bespoke investment strategies, manages model portfolios, and resolves pre-trade compliance issues.
- Manages corporate action events and reviews strategy-level data, benchmarks, and performance composites.
- Guides less experienced professionals in resolving complex investment-related operational issues of notable risk.
- Represents the department as a subject matter expert on cross-functional/enterprise-wide strategic initiatives of notable risk.
- Implements portfolio management policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
- 8+ years of total relevant work experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate complex topics for diverse audiences.
- Relevant investment or operations experience, including exposure to Multi-Asset strategies.
- 6+ years of investment industry experience.
- Demonstrated ability to design and implement process improvements.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Familiarity or interest in utilizing Python and SQL.
- Applies a consultative approach when interacting with stakeholders and peers.
- Intellectually curious and able to apply critical thinking skills.
- Strategic thinker and creative problem solver.
- Ability to coach and influence peers without direct supervisory oversight.
Preferred
- Completion of or progress towards a CFA, MBA, or MSF.
FINRA Requirements
- FINRA licenses are not required and will not be supported for this role.
Work Flexibility
This role is eligible for hybrid work, with up to one day per week from home.
Base Salary Range
Base salary ranges vary by location. For example:
- Maryland, Colorado, Washington, and remote workers: $110,000.00 - $188,000.00
- New York, California: $121,000.00 - $207,000.00
- New York, California: $138,000.00 - $236,000.00
