About the role

Taskrabbit is looking for a Lead Financial Analyst to join our FP&A team. This role requires combining sharp financial instincts with interpersonal skills to influence a fast-moving organization. Key responsibilities include building and maintaining complex financial models, conducting ROI analyses, presenting analysis to senior and cross-functional audiences, and contributing to Taskrabbit's internal AI strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain complex financial models and reports in close collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Play a critical role in forecasting, budgeting, and monthly reporting cycles
  • Conduct ROI analyses to evaluate and prioritize investment opportunities
  • Present analysis to senior and cross-functional audiences — crafting compelling narratives that surface key strategic decisions, not just data
  • Take a leadership role in internal team meetings; coach and motivate junior team members and drive process improvements across the finance function
  • Contribute to Taskrabbit's internal AI strategy — identifying and executing opportunities to make the finance team, and the broader organization, more effective through AI tools

Requirements

Requirements include a bachelor's or master's degree in finance, mathematics, analytics, economics, or a related quantitative field, 5–8 years of experience in corporate finance, FP&A, investment banking, consulting, or business analytics, and experience in a fast-paced tech environment, ideally a marketplace business.

Qualifications

  • Excellent financial modeling skills with a hands-on approach to data and model construction
  • A natural communicator who can bridge technical and business audiences — turning complexity into clarity
  • Someone who identifies critical business problems and solves them with rigorous, creative analysis
  • A self-starter who takes ownership, operates with high integrity, and brings curiosity to every challenge

Skills

  • Technical excellence in financial modeling
  • Interpersonal skills to influence a fast-moving organization
  • Ability to build genuine partnerships with stakeholders from diverse backgrounds
  • Strong communication skills to craft compelling narratives
  • Leadership and coaching abilities
  • Curiosity and problem-solving mindset

Benefits

  • Total compensation includes base pay + bonus + benefits + perks
  • Base pay range for this position is $128,000-$155,000
  • Health insurance and a 401k match with immediate vesting for US based employees
  • Flexible time off with 2 company-wide closure weeks, Taskrabbit product stipends, wellness + productivity + education stipends, IKEA discounts, reproductive health support, and more
