Position Overview and Responsibilities

The primary scope of the Lead Analyst role is to provide finance leadership and support to the Digital Global Marketing president and team. The analyst will deliver critical financial insights and influence business decisions that impact business objectives. They will also proactively provide executive-level communication regarding financial results.

  • Drive valuation and early business case generation for acquisitions, partnerships, and internal innovation related to Digital products, primarily those focused on robotics and digital solutions.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to drive strategy through optimizing innovation portfolio, evaluating financial considerations, scenario assumptions, and potential business impacts.
  • Provide financial support through key governance milestones, including stage gate reviews and launch excellence reviews.
  • Manage and develop an analyst responsible for supporting the navigation pipeline, including financial analysis, portfolio insights, and business case support.
  • Support commercial launch of products as they progress through pipeline.
  • Lead business partners through all critical forecasting cycles and actuals reporting related to Digital budget and evaluate internal and external risks and market drivers.
  • Shape new marketing organizational structure which includes collaboration between global marketing ("upstream marketing") and individual platforms ("downstream marketing").
  • Connect with regional finance teams to ensure alignment of strategies and accounting practices as well as consolidate global Digital results.
  • Deliver executive communication regarding business results and financial drivers.
  • Challenge business assumptions, develop alternative scenarios, and educate business partners on financial issues and concepts.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required; a major in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
  • A CPA, MBA, CMA, or other related certification is preferred.
  • A minimum of three years of finance, business experience or related leadership experience is required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office is required.
  • Advanced Excel and Presentation skills required.
  • A collaborative and inquisitive style while working with a cross-functional organization with many partners is required.
  • Ability to apply data and strong analytics to influence executive decision making is required.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with various levels of management and external customers is also required.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail is required.
