About the Role

We are seeking a determined Lead Alarm & Certified Security Professional who embodies our core values: Service, Accountability, Customer Focus, Growth, and Integrity. This role is for tenured industry-proven technicians with white-glove customer experience success. You will support a customized approach to new installations, build next-level customer relationships, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations. The position involves visiting customer sites, completing walkthroughs, designing systems, performing installations with technical enhancements, and partnering with our care team to meet all customer needs. You will also serve as a technical expert in residential "custom home" installations.

Responsibilities

  • Experience with specific alarm panels: Qolsys 4 and 5, Honeywell (Vista 20 and 128), DSC (1864, 1616), Concord 4, and familiarity with others such as DMP, 2GIG, and Ademco.
  • Troubleshoot technical problems.
  • Proficient in drilling, dropping, and running wires in multi-level homes.
  • Replace/install system components: add-ons, conversions, takeovers, new installs, and service.
  • Properly maintain and record inventory transactions job to job.
  • Install and test the operations of all equipment to ensure proper functionality and signal verification required to establish service.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the use and functionality of the customer’s system and provide recommendations.
  • Maintain safety practices to prevent injury and damage to property.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace/job site to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain a clean and organized fleet vehicle.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of industry experience in residential alarm installations.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Detail-oriented and committed to delivering high-quality results.
  • Relevant certifications and licenses are a plus.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Good driving record and valid driver’s license.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Working knowledge of how an alarm system operates.
  • Must be comfortable climbing ladders and working at heights.
  • Must be comfortable working in tight spaces such as crawlspaces, attics, and basements.
