We are seeking a determined Lead Alarm & Certified Security Professional who embodies our core values: Service, Accountability, Customer Focus, Growth, and Integrity. This role is for tenured, industry-proven technicians with a track record of white-glove customer experience. You will support a customized approach to new installations, build next-level customer relationships, and serve as a technical expert in residential “custom home” installations while ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Experience with specific alarm panels: Qolsys 4 and 5, Honeywell (Vista 20 and 128), DSC (1864, 1616), Concord 4, and familiarity with others such as DMP, 2GIG, and Ademco.
  • Troubleshoot technical problems.
  • Proficient in drilling, dropping, and running wires in multi-level homes.
  • Replace/install system components: add-ons, conversions, takeovers, new installs, and service.
  • Properly maintain and record inventory transactions job to job.
  • Install and test the operations of all equipment to ensure proper functionality and signal verification required to establish service.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the use and functionality of the customer’s system and provide recommendations.
  • Maintain safety practices to prevent injury and damage to property.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace/job site to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain a clean and organized fleet vehicle.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of industry experience in residential alarm installations.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Detail-oriented and committed to delivering high-quality results.
  • Relevant certifications and licenses are a plus.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Good driving record and valid driver’s license.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Working knowledge of how an alarm system operates.
  • Must be comfortable climbing ladders and working at heights.
  • Must be comfortable working in tight spaces such as crawlspaces, attics, and basements.
