Lead Aide-Extended Care - EVERGREEN

Job Responsibilities

• Supervise students in the extended care program during before- and/or after-school hours.
• Affiliate in organizing and leading indoor and outdoor activities, games, crafts, and quiet time.
• Provide a safe and positive environment by managing student behavior according to school policies.
• Maintain accuracy in sign-in/sign-out procedures and attendance records.
• Communicate effectively and respectfully with students, parents, and school staff.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the extended care space.
• Affiliate in setting up and cleaning up daily activities and snacks.
• Follow safety, emergency, and health procedures at all times.
• Report incidents, injuries, or disciplinary issues to the Extended Care Coordinator or School Administration.

Job Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED is required; some college coursework in education or child development is preferred.
• Experience working with children in a school, daycare, or camp setting is required.
• The ability to supervise and engage groups of children is essential.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are necessary.
• The candidate must be dependable, patient, and energetic.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) is required.
