About the Opportunity:The Lead AI/ML Engineer role is responsible for defining and executing the AI and machine learning engineering roadmap in alignment with key business objectives. This position provides technical leadership for initiatives involving Machine Learning, Generative AI, Agentic AI, NLP, and Predictive Analytics. The role is critical in designing, building, and deploying scalable AI systems that transform healthcare technology while ensuring responsible AI practices. 3. Responsibilities:Define and implement AI/ML engineering roadmap aligned with business goalsLead technical efforts in AI, Machine Learning, Generative AI, Agentic AI, NLP, and Predictive AnalyticsConduct AI solution architecture reviews and guide technology selectionsMentor AI/ML engineers and data scientistsDesign, build, train, evaluate, and deploy production-ready ML and deep learning modelsLead deployment of LLM-based applications, RAG architectures, AI agents, and conversational AI platformsEstablish benchmarks, validation frameworks, responsible AI practices, explainability, bias mitigation, and model governanceDevelop end-to-end MLOps pipelines including CI/CD, monitoring, drift detection, and observability on cloud platformsCollaborate with data engineering teams to create data pipelines and feature stores ensuring security and regulatory complianceWork with business leaders and domain experts to translate complex problems into scalable AI solutionsLeverage enterprise AI capabilities to optimize workflows, inference performance, and engineering excellence 4. Requirements:5+ years of software or data engineering experience2+ years of hands-on machine learning engineering experienceExperience deploying production-ready ML/DL modelsExperience designing or implementing cloud-native infrastructure or MLOps pipelines (e.g., Azure or GCP)Proven track record of delivering AI solutions with measurable business impact Preferred:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, ML, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related fieldExperience with LLM applications, Retrieval-Augmented Generation architectures, and AI agentsExperience with responsible AI frameworks, explainability, bias mitigation, and model governanceStrong leadership and communication skills, with experience presenting to executive audiences 5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:Salary range from $145,500 to $249,500 annually based on full-time employmentCompensation is based on factors including local labor market, education, experience, and certificationsBenefits include a comprehensive package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase, and 401(k) contribution subject to eligibility 6.
