About The Role We are seeking an experienced Responsible AI Engineer to join Accenture's Global Responsible AI team within the Data & AI Practice. This role is pivotal in advancing our mission to embed responsibility into all AI-related activities, ensuring that AI solutions are designed, developed, and deployed ethically, transparently, and responsibly. As a Responsible AI Engineer, you will work on developing cutting-edge AI models to address complex business challenges while maintaining a strong focus on ethical considerations such as fairness, transparency, explainability, robustness, privacy, and soundness. You will collaborate with clients and internal teams to implement responsible AI principles, mitigate risks, and support the development of best practices and guidelines. Your expertise will contribute to shaping responsible AI policies and helping clients leverage AI technology in an ethical and inclusive manner, ultimately making a positive impact on society. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 12 years of relevant work experience, with at least 6 years dedicated to developing and deploying AI solutions and machine learning models. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or related technical fields is required; candidates with an associate degree must demonstrate a minimum of 6 years of professional experience. Proven proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java, along with experience using AI frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch, is essential. Familiarity with big data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark, as well as cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, is highly desirable. Candidates should have a strong understanding of data management, preprocessing, and analysis, with demonstrated ability to work with complex datasets. Additional certifications in AI, machine learning, or data science, along with training in responsible AI and ethics, will be considered advantageous. Responsibilities Develop and implement AI models and solutions with a focus on ethical and responsible practices, ensuring alignment with responsible AI principles.Assess and mitigate risks related to bias, fairness, transparency, explainability, robustness, and privacy in AI systems.Support client engagements by contributing to sales discussions, proposals, and technical presentations related to responsible AI solutions.Optimize and maintain existing AI models for improved performance while adhering to ethical standards and regulatory requirements.Participate in the entire AI development lifecycle, including data collection, cleaning, feature engineering, model design, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.Contribute to the creation of internal guidelines, best practices, and technical training programs for responsible AI development.Stay abreast of emerging trends, technological advancements, and ethical considerations in AI to ensure the team remains at the industry forefront.Identify and address biases within datasets and models, ensuring fairness and equity in AI outputs.Maintain comprehensive documentation of AI development processes, methodologies, and decision-making rationales to promote transparency and reproducibility. Travel may be required for client engagements, with the extent varying based on project needs and location.
