Lead Advanced Manufacturing Engineer (AME)
Roles and Responsibilities
- Define and control production process including tooling and equipment.
- Validate design specifications and shop floor application of new product, tools, or equipment.
- Support production teams with problem solving and evolving manufacturing practices to better support customer delivery through safe and quality processes/technology.
- Source and oversee new equipment & new product introduction to production readiness.
- Support emerging technology platforms through Research & Development and Testing.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university and a minimum of 3 years of Manufacturing & Production Process and Equipment experience (or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 7 years of Manufacturing & Production Process and Equipment experience).
Desired Characteristics
- Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or a related technical field from an accredited college or university and a minimum of 5 years of Manufacturing & Production Process and Equipment experience (or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 9 years of Manufacturing & Production Process and Equipment experience).
- Strong technical background CNC Machining and programming.
- Diverse knowledge of manufacturing process and how they relate to one another.
- Ability to mentor guide individuals and related technical disciplines.
- Familiar with automated control type systems and logic associated with them.
- Experience in aerospace, turbine, precision machining, or other regulated manufacturing.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to plan, document, and execute technical programs or projects.
- Ability to mentor others and work effectively across functions.
- Demonstrates humility, transparency, focus, and collaborative leadership.
Pay
The base pay range for this position is $116,150-155,250 USD Annual. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
