Wells Fargo is seeking a Portfolio Manager in ABL and Factoring to manage a portfolio of commercial clients utilizing asset-based lending and factoring solutions. The Portfolio Manager serves as the primary client contact, ensuring satisfaction, portfolio performance, and risk mitigation while identifying cross-selling opportunities for financial products.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain effective relationships with existing clients, sharing relevant information with coverage team partners.
- Review and analyze complex, multi-faceted business, operational, or technical challenges requiring in-depth evaluation.
- Independently analyze client portfolios, including complex scenarios, for key issues related to cash flow, liquidity, leverage, working capital, debt coverage, collateral, enterprise value, and repayment sources.
- Partner with coverage teams to understand clients' businesses, strategic objectives, and financial positions to identify opportunities for modifications, renewals, and refinancings.
- Lead complex, cross-functional initiatives, manage a portfolio of accounts, conduct regular portfolio reviews, and resolve problem loans.
- Collaborate with peers, functional partners, and managers to resolve client issues and achieve business objectives.
- Make decisions on complex issues and lead teams to meet product or specialty objectives while adhering to policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
- Partner with product management to provide vision and expertise on evolving market needs, enabling innovation and delivery of credit solutions.
- Participate in large-scale planning for business objectives and mentor less experienced team members.
Requirements
- 5+ years of secured or specialized lending relationship management or portfolio management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
Qualifications
- Experience in Asset Based Lending and Factoring.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
- Strong understanding of financial statements, collateral analysis, and loan structuring.
- Proficiency in financial analysis, including interpreting balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Strong understanding of commercial banking products and services.
- Ability to analyze client needs and develop tailored financial solutions.
Job Expectations
- Travel: 10% of the time.

Pay
$139,000.00 - $217,000.00 base pay range. Pay may vary based on performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.
