About the role
As a lead department manager at Hart2Hart, Inc., you will support the restaurant general manager in overseeing all aspects of the restaurant operations. In the absence of the general manager, you will maintain the restaurant operations set by the organization and McDonald's.
Responsibilities
- Manage a team of employees which includes scheduling shifts, delegating duties, ensuring the store is properly staffed, and ensuring training is up to date.
- Ensure customers are satisfied with service and quality, addressing any concerns or questions in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure food preparations and services meet McDonald’s quality standards and adhere to all safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records of sales, expenses, and inventory.
- Operate equipment such as grills, fryers, and drink dispensers.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for customers.
- Develop employees by providing feedback on their performance and coaching them to improve their skills.
- Manage money counts, register activity, bank deposits, etc.
Requirements
- Minimum 20 years old.
- Available to work a minimum of 40 hours a week.
- Serve safe certified.
- Trained in all department manager areas (3).
- Completed the Developing the Leader in Me class.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Reliable transportation.
- Prior experience in a management role is preferred.
Qualifications
- Must be permitted to work in the US.
- Availability in the mornings, nights, weekends, holidays.
Skills
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to remain stationary during peak hours.
- Ability to move positions when instructed.
- Ability to move boxes up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to observe the work environment.
- Exposure to high and low temperatures.
