About the role
The Meadowlark Initiative is a collaborative effort among various healthcare facilities in Montana aimed at providing comprehensive prenatal behavioral health support. This position is part of a multidisciplinary team within the inpatient and outpatient women's and children's departments.
Responsibilities
- Work directly with pregnant and post-partum women with substance use and behavioral health disorders.
- Conduct evaluations and provide ongoing individual counseling.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals for referrals or group sessions.
- Develop and implement treatment plans to improve access to behavioral health care.
- Provide on-the-fly consultation for healthcare providers.
Requirements
- Licensed LCPC or LCSW.
- Active Montana licensure or ability to obtain licensure prior to employment.
Qualifications
- Experience in providing behavioral health services to pregnant and post-partum women.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records.
- Knowledge of trauma-informed care principles.
