LCMHC - Outpatient Therapist and Clinical Supervisor

This position will be located in either our Blakeney or Southpark office in greater Charlotte, NC.

This position is located in greater Charlotte, NC (Southpark, Blakeney) with an expected start date of late Sept-Oct 2026 (partially dependent on credentialing process). Our clinics offer in-person and telehealth options to clients. This position will be under the direction of the Clinic Manager.
Responsibilities
- Conduct intakes/initial assessments and provide ongoing therapy to teens and adults (couples optional but preferred).
- Maintain a caseload of a minimum of 27 client visits per week.
- Maintain appropriate clinical documentation, including treatment plans.
- Work with billing department to maintain clean accounts for clients.
- Coordinate services with case managers, other providers, and school staff as needed.
- Provide exceptional customer service for clients.
- Attend and participate in all staff meetings and mandatory trainings.
- Assist with onboarding of new therapists to promote a welcoming, strong, and inclusive company culture.
- Engage in networking, outreach, and community-based events to reduce mental health stigma and promote Ellie in the Charlotte community.
- Play a critical role in maintaining a peaceful and happy work environment.
Requirements
- Must be independently licensed as an LCMHC in the state of NC.
- Out-of-state candidates must be within 30 days of receiving reciprocity in NC.
- Demonstrable experience in working with teens and adults.
- Experience with assessments, treatment plans, and clinical documentation.
- Comfort and familiarity working with a diverse client base.
- Proficiency with using EHRs.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to demonstrate adaptability and solution-oriented thinking.
- Ability to work independently.
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of insurance billing.
- Knowledge of community resources and willingness to engage with Ellie's preferred providers.
- Proficient in the use of Office 365.
- Current or previous credentialing with insurance panels (preferable but not required).
- Therapists with LGBTQIA+ and/or First Responder/Veteran experience will be given priority.

Pay
The salary range for a full-time (27+ client visits per week), independently licensed clinician is approximately $75,000-$85,000 per year, dependent on weekly caseload. Flexible work-from-home options are available.
