Responsibilities

  • Developing and preparing layout drawings of the analog and digital semiconductor devices.
  • Creating the drawings from schematics and related geometry as provided by the circuit design engineer.
  • Work is completed through use of CAD software, interpreting constraints and providing back annotation.
  • Project documentation, packaging verification and data management.

Qualifications

  • Minimum education: Associate Degree
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience.

About the Role

Texas Instruments is seeking an experienced Layout Designer to join our team. Responsibilities include developing and preparing layout drawings of the analog and digital semiconductor devices, creating drawings from schematics and related geometry, and working with CAD software to interpret constraints and provide back annotation. Project documentation, packaging verification, and data management are also part of the duties. Skills required include checking dimensions, interpreting design rules, writing specifications, and verifying completed drawings.
