Responsibilities
- Provide calendar and court support to assigned litigation case teams as part of a regional network of docket professionals across all US offices.
- Understand the workflow for a variety of litigation cases to accurately enter case information and select the appropriate court jurisdiction using rule-based docketing software.
- Advise case teams on a wide range of procedural issues arising at every stage of the litigation process in both state and federal courts.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor degree with current New York bar admission.
- Four years of docketing or relevant litigation support experience.
- Litigation experience preferred.
- Knowledge of federal court procedural rules preferred.
- Experience conducting legal research using Bloomberg Law and PACER, and docket management software such as CompuLaw preferred.
- Bilingual in English/Spanish highly desirable.
Pay
The starting salary range for this New York position is $160,000 to $190,000.
