Lawn Care Technician

About the role

Weed Man Muskegon is a branch of North America's largest franchised lawn care company. As a continuously growing franchise, we provide reliable, high-quality services throughout our area. The position is seasonal, full-time (March-November), and ideal for motivated, customer-focused individuals who enjoy working outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily, assigned services for customer lawns
• Safely, meticulously, & accurately operate application equipment
• Evaluate lawn conditions & provide solutions
• Perform lawn measurements
• Communicate with customers in a friendly, professional manner
• Generate field sales when appropriate
• Maintain accurate service records and follow all state/company regulations
• Guarantee company vehicles, equipment, and materials are kept clean and organized
• Represent Weed Man with professionalism, integrity, and a customer-first mindset

Qualifications/Requirements

• MUST have a valid Michigan driver license with a CLEAN driving record
• State certification to spray herbicides (if NOT currently certified, must be able to obtain certification within 2 weeks of hire)
• Ability to lift/carry up to 50lbs for 8-10 hours a day
• Ability and willingness to work outdoor in various weather conditions for 8-10 hours a day
• Professional appearance and strong work ethic
• Strong customer service
• Proven time-management and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
• Positive attitude, high energy, reliable, and self-motivated
• Previous sales or industry experience is an asset, but NOT required
