Lawn Care Technician

This position is based out of our St. Paul office location. Full-time, year-round employment is available for candidates interested in commercial snow removal during the winter months. Benefits eligibility requires year-round employment.

Pay

$27.00 - $32.00 per hour, depending on experience.

About the role

Our Lawn Care Technician applies fertilizers and pesticides to promote lawn growth, preserve trees and ornamental turf, and control weeds for customer properties.

Responsibilities

• Handle, mix, and apply pesticides, herbicides, fertilizers, and chemicals using dry and liquid machines.
• Operate and maintain all equipment within company safety and preventive maintenance standards.
• Maintain records of job status.
• Use various operating systems and technology to track and report jobs.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Work collaboratively with the team and company leadership.
• Work autonomously, demonstrating strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Make high-quality decisions in a fast-paced and evolving environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Commercial Pesticide Applicator license for core (A) and turf & ornaments (E).
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Valid DOT card or ability to obtain one.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test.

Preferred Qualifications

• Commercial Applicator license for aquatic (F) and insect control (S).
