Lawn Care Technician

About the role

We are a fertilization, weed control, and disease management company. This is an outside job—it is cold in the winter and hot in the summer. You will be trained on our equipment; taking care of it makes the work easier. If not, you’ll be doing a lot of walking and spraying.

You must be able to perform simple math (addition, subtraction, multiplication) for mixing chemicals and calibrating equipment. Problem-solving is critical; you should be able to make independent decisions, such as finding alternative routes if road construction blocks your path. Attention to detail is a must and will be assessed during interviews.

Responsibilities

• Apply fertilizers, weed control, and disease management treatments
• Follow check-off sheets and notes to ensure accuracy
• Operate and maintain equipment
• Navigate routes independently and solve problems on the go

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license
• Good moral character (background checks and reference verification will be conducted)
• Ability to perform basic math for chemical mixing and equipment calibration
• Attention to detail
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

Pay

$17.00 - $19.00 per hour. Starting pay is $17.00; adjustments may be made for experience. We prefer candidates with no prior experience to ensure proper training.

Schedule

Primarily Monday through Friday, mornings to early afternoons. Occasional Saturdays may be required due to weather delays or commercial property work. Paid holidays and paid rain days are included.
